The Benefits of a Furnished Corporate Apartment in Downtown Little Rock
Picking out and shipping furniture, waiting on the internet technician for hours, buying sponges and dish soap and cooking pans – you don’t have the time for that kind of minutia. We know that you’re here to work, and we want to make sure you’re able to do that as comfortably and easily as possible.
Staying in a hotel for weeks at a time is also an option. But let’s be honest – even when they’re designed for long stays, living out of a suitcase and sleeping in chemical scented sheets gets old fast. And it can be difficult to be productive in a less than ideal living situation.
Arkansas Suites is built on the belief that every traveler deserves a place that is comfortable, relaxing, and conveniently located. That’s why we try to style and stock our homes mindfully – because we’re serving the whole person, not just the company.
Browse through the options on our site and see if anything speaks to you! We always encourage our patrons to shop around when deciding where to stay in downtown Little Rock, because we’re confident we’re the best option around. Ask yourself these questions as you start researching:
- Is the provider setting everything up for you?
- Do they ensure that the property is clean and tidy so you can walk in and unpack?
- Are the luxury amenities there?
- Is the location convenient and meet your specifications?
- Do you feel comfortable when you walk through the door?
Corporate housing doesn’t have to be standard and beige. You can have a real home away from home! You deserve to be comfortable while you travel for work.
We’ve thought through your needs on arrival and while staying in town, but we’ve also planned for when your stay comes to an end. You don’t have to turn off utilities, sell your furniture, or pay a cleaner – all you have to do is walk out the door and head out! We know you’re anxious to get home and we don’t want to delay you by even a moment.
Questions to Ask Yourself Before You Choose a Little Rock Apartment
We encourage you to shop around when searching for a furnished apartment in Little Rock. And while you search, ask yourself a few questions to make sure it’s the right choice:
“Is the provider setting everything up for me?”
Furniture, cleaning services, internet, utilities – everything should be included.
“Will my apartment be clean and tidy when I arrive?”
You should be able to walk through the door and feel right at home.
“Are there luxury amenities?”
From high-speed internet and walk-in closets to swimming pools – you can have whatever you need to be comfortable during your stay in Benton.
“Is the commute convenient?”
When you’re traveling for work, your commute makes a big difference in the quality of life you’ll experience.
“Do I feel comfortable and at home in this living space?”
Remember, corporate housing should not look or feel cold, stale or generic – it should feel like home.
Downtown Little Rock Neighborhoods
Downtown Little Rock has several neighborhoods, all of which have their unique vibe and amenities:
RIVER MARKET DISTRICT
The River Market District is one of Little Rock’s most popular areas. It draws a lot of visiting tourists here for conventions, concerts, sporting events, hotels, or the booming nightlife. The River Market District is truly the pulse of the city. Visit the Farmer’s Market on weekends or wander a little further for breathtaking views of the Arkansas River flanked by the sculpture garden created by local artists.
MAIN STREET CREATIVE CORRIDOR
The Main Street Creative Corridor is home to the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Ballet Arkansas, Little Rock Technology Park. It also houses several galleries and creative businesses. The neighborhood is a rapidly growing mixed-use, work-live environment that celebrates its historical roots while inviting residents to get excited about what’s new in downtown Little Rock!
MACARTHUR PARK HISTORIC DISTRICT
The MacArthur Park neighborhood is fifty square blocks surrounding the historic MacArthur Park. This was Little Rock’s first neighborhood and there are several homes still standing that were built in the 1840-60s. Enjoy access to the park as well as to the commercial and office spaces in the center of downtown.
GOVERNOR’S MANSION HISTORIC DISTRICT
The Governor’s Mansion Historic District surrounds the governor’s mansion and is located directly south of downtown’s center. This area is conveniently located near several churches and Arkansas Children’s Hospital as well as the rest of downtown’s entertainment venues.
South Main (SoMa) is a recently revived area that is especially popular with younger people and families because of the affordable prices and the locally owned businesses that have popped up all along the main street. Come check out The Root for the best vegan food in town. Loblolly makes small-batch, locally sourced ice cream and Moxie is always stocked with quirky gifts and vintage goods.
The East Village was, in very recent memory, no more than a collection of empty warehouses and freight yards. But now it has been completely renovated and revived and is home to the Clinton Presidential Center and Park, Heifer International World, E-Stem Charter Schools, The Rail Yard bar, Cat’s Head Diner, and many other locally-owned institutions.
